i am completely obsessed with guitar hero (2 and 3 to be exact). we’ve been playing since 9:30 this morning. it is almost midnight. the good news is that i have almost mastered all of the songs in medium— a far cry from yesterday when i couldnt even get thru one song.

Julia: Why do you TURN OFF YOUR CELLPHONE??? What is the point of having a cellphone if it's OFF!?!
Dad: So the battery doesn't run down.

lara: so i am getting two new tattoos. wanna know what they are?
susan: yes.
lara: on one forearm i am going to get "memento vivre" and on the other i am gonna get "memento mori"
susan: what do they mean?
lara: "memento vivre" means "remember to live each day" and "memento mori" means "remember each day that you will die.
susan: can you see the disgust in my face right now? from 3,000 miles away?
lara: yep. you've got that "i-just-ate-something-nasty-and-i-have-nowhere-to- spit-it-out...what-do-i-do?" face
susan: hahahhahahahhahahhahaha (repeat for 2 minutes)
